Duties:
- Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, water trucks.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment to complete assigned tasks such as excavation, grading, paving, and other construction-related activities.
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure work is completed accurately and meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations on the job site.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment, including bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, water trucks.
- Proficient in the use of various heavy equipment controls and functions.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
