Bottling Supervisor

Shift: 7P-7A; 2,2,3 rotation

This role is responsible for both leadership and supervisory responsibilities within the Bottling Department.


  • Monitor bottling line operations to effectively and efficiently complete production.

  • Provide technical assistance to operators as well as line employees.

  • Coordinate maintenance actions to maintain production quality and efficiency.

  • Work with Bottling Manager and maintenance team to implements operational and mechanical improvements.

  • Evaluate production efficiency and cost; direct improvements and corrective action plans.

  • Supervise and enforce OSHA and Company safety regulations and policies.

  • Lead the safety program for the department via development and execution of safe practices.

  • Report all safety concerns and all accidents and near misses.

  • Train and supervise bottling line employees to improve skills and performance of all employees within the department.

  • Encourage and manage employees to produce quality products within quality and efficiency guidelines.

  • Evaluate employee performance and skill level to determine skill improvement needs.

  • Continuously improve quality of processes, products, services and the culture in which we work.

  • Support the New Product Development Team in creating new products within timelines and budgets.

  • Help evaluate equipment capabilities and capital expenditure requirements.

  • Work with management team to create new initiatives including new products and packages.

  • Meet/exceed customer expectations by supervising assigned bottling lines.

  • Suggest cost-reducing ideas.

  • Ensure production efficiency within cost standards.

  • Track efficiencies, quality and production data to improve yields and throughput.

  • Provide leadership to assigned bottling line teams in a manner consistent with the culture of the company.

  • Create a team environment that encourages all employees to make a difference in meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

  • Ensure all Bottling operations meet regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA and TTB regulations.

  • Perform job responsibly and in compliance with Company procedures and applicable rules and regulations.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Proficient in using computer systems, including MS Office products

  • Proven ability to communicate with all levels in an organization

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills


  • Working knowledge of high-speed bottling equipment

  • Previous experience as a supervisor in a fast-paced production environment

  • A proven track record of successful management experience in a unionized manufacturing environment

  • Proven knowledge of manufacturing best practices

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Lean Manufacturing experience

  • GMP and HACCP experience

  • Lean Manufacturing Principles
  • Scheduling Experience
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Salary info:

$31.70 - $43.25 / hr
