Overview
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Prep Cook and play a vital role in delivering delicious, high-quality meals to our guests. As a Prep Cook, you will support the kitchen staff by preparing ingredients, assisting with meal assembly, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients according to recipes, including chopping, slicing, dicing, and portioning to ensure consistency and quality.

Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling salads, garnishes, and side dishes in line with menu specifications.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, ovens, and food processors.

Follow strict food safety standards in handling, storage, and sanitation to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.

Maintain cleanliness of workstations by cleaning utensils, equipment, and surfaces regularly throughout shifts.

Support the kitchen team by adhering to recipe guidelines and portion control for meal consistency.

Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate prep activities and ensure timely meal service.
Experience
-
Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable.

Food industry or restaurant experience demonstrating knowledge of food handling and safety standards.

Culinary experience with strong knife skills, slicing techniques, and food preparation methods.

Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, fryers, and food processors.

Knowledge of menu planning principles and meal assembly processes.

Experience in catering or large-scale food service environments is a plus.

Ability to follow detailed recipes accurately while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
