Job Summary

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This role involves conducting inspections, testing materials, and implementing quality control procedures to maintain and improve product excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

· Perform regular inspections and tests on equipment, raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

· Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify product specifications and functionality.

· Collect samples for testing and sample retention.

· Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and deviations. React to data as needed.

· Prepare and present quality control reports, highlighting trends, non-conformities, and recommendations for improvement.

· Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues, ensuring that corrective actions are taken promptly.

· Identify areas for process improvements and work with engineering and production teams to implement enhancements.

· Participate in quality improvement projects and contribute to the development of best practices.

· Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards in all activities.

· Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and standards.

· Assist in the development of quality control training materials and programs.

· Assist in troubleshooting.

· Other duties/projects as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree, Technical Degree or certification preferred.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Comfortable working in various environmental conditions (e.g., noise, temperature variations).

· Understands and follows cGMPs.

· Technical and analytical skills.

· Proficient with Microsoft based computer systems.

Working Conditions:

· Must wear proper PPE.

· Exposure to moving machinery.

· Ability to perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload and respond accordingly.

Physical Demands:

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

· Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

· Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

· Moderate climbing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:
