This position will work as part of the Quality Assurance team reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager to insure proper procedures and SWIs are followed and documented to maintain product quality and records traceability. A primary component of this position will be supporting the QA Manager with the improvement and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) documents and ensuring the requirements for IATF16949 2016 and ISO 9001 2015 are met.

  • Develop, review and assist with implementing company quality standards.
  • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, prints, and specifications.
  • Review quality data according to existing documents and procedures, makes recommendations.
  • Create, update, organize and maintain NPR document control Quality Management System (QMS)
  • IATF/ISO data entry, organizing, filing, maintaining supplier qualification information.
  • Individual will be a quality support assisting with quality checks and QMS audits.
  • Performs other related tasks and duties as assigned by the QA Manage

 

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent at a minimum.
  • Requires experience with IATF 16949 2016 and ISO 9001 2015 experience.
  • Working knowledge of quality systems, dial indicators, height gauges, hardness testing, calibration and the metric system.
  • Document control aspects must be evident.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and specs.
  • Above average proficiency in Microsoft Suite software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, ability to prioritize and follows thru with limited supervision.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform intermediate math and reading skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills in a cross-cultural environment are required.
  • Ability to engage in a professional two-way communication and maintain positive relationships with all customers (external and internal).
  • Confidentiality is required.
  • General understanding and practical work experience with automotive quality systems and processes is preferred.
  • Must be able to work a fixed or rotating shift schedule, including daily or weekend overtime as needed
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
