Summary

Join Don Franklin Auto Group as a Certified Automotive Technician in our Bardstown, Kentucky dealership. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our automotive services, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. Your expertise will contribute directly to our mission of providing top-tier automotive care. Prior experience is required and certification is preferred. Pay will be based on prior experience and certification level and will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other vehicle components.
• Use schematics and automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all repair activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly

Qualification

• Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain, and diagnostics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
• Ability to diagnose complex vehicle issues accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with General Motor vehicles is a plus.
