Full job description
Summary/Objective: Staffs Reception area and relays incoming, outgoing and interoffice calls and serves the Carrico Hall/Motherhouse/O?Connell Hall complex by performing the following duties:
Essential Functions:
- Use computer equipment and software to process incoming and outgoing phone calls.
- Supply information to callers and records messages.
- Operate paging system to locate residents and others as requested.
- Place calls for residents and others as requested.
- Sign residents out as they leave the premises and signs them back in when the return.
- Sign in visitors, issues visitor tags, answer questions and directs visitors to their destination.
- Monitor voicemail system and relays messages as necessary.
- Monitor the fire alarm panel and contacts appropriate persons when alarm sounds.
- Monitor NOAA Weather Radio for severe weather bulletin and announces approaching severe weather.
- Issue fishing permits following approved procedures and guidelines. Money for fishing permits is turned in to Nazareth Campus Service office.
- Notify residents and staff of deliveries.
- Assist other departments with occasional tasks, as possible.
- Other duties may be assigned.
