DESCRIPTION:Hello Workforce Partners! \n\n \n\nIt has been quite a while since we have convened as a workforce group. I am excited to gather once again on Zoom to discuss all that is happening and has happened in our community surrounding our labor force. And SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED! \n\n \n\nThe primary focus of this meeting is to establish a clear\, attainable goal for this group so that we can plan it and put it in motion. Much like we did with the Workforce Hub. Additionally\, here are some other topics we plan to cover...\n\n \n\n Hub Website Update- How can employers utilize the resources\n Free Training offered by the Chamber\n \n XLR8 Series May-August on Success in the Workplace through Workforce Development\n ServSafe Food Handlers on April 25th\n OSHA 10 Training in the Fall \n Is OSHA 30 needed locally?\n \n \n Meet Noah Villanova with Kentucky Career Center\n \n How can the Kentucky Career Center assist employers\n Virtual Job Fairs/ OTJ Training\n On location training for current employees\n Partnership with Job Fair with Chamber?\n \n \n TPM update\n \n Zach Gaubert will give update on local Collaboratives\n Update on regional launch of Manufacturing and Constructions Collaboratives with Hardin and Meade County\n \n \n Recovery Programs for employers\n High School Workforce Initiatives\n \n WBL Placements for 2022-2023 School Year\n Career Fair for graduating seniors\, open to public\n \n \n\n \n\nPlease hold March 31st 9am-11am in your calendars for a virtual meeting.
