DESCRIPTION:The Stephen Foster Story returns on Saturday\, June 8th on a brand new stage at the amphitheater in Bardstown! \n\n\n\nThe celebration begins at 6:30pm just outside the theater with live music\, cast in costume\, food for purchase\, complimentary beverages\, and more! Then at 8pm\, sit back and enjoy the 61st opening night performance of The Stephen Foster Story. Featuring over fifty of Foster's greatest compositions such as "Oh! Susanna"\, "Camptown Races"\, "Beautiful Dreamer"\, "Hard Times (Come Again No More)\, & Kentucky's state song "My Old Kentucky Home"\, The Stephen Foster Story captures the essence of a by-gone era through song\, dance\, breathtaking costumes\, and the picture-perfect setting under the Kentucky starlight. \n\n\n\nTickets begin at $21 for adults & $12 for children 6-12\, plus fees.
