LG&E and KU Updates
LG&E and KU: These are unprecedented times, and the livelihood of communities, states and countries has been drastically impacted by COVID-19. I, like many of you, live in a close-knit community, where I interact with neighbors, friends and business colleagues at local coffee shops, church services, school functions and ball games. So, to lose that personal connection, especially during a time of crisis, has been tough.
Yet, it’s heartening to see so many organizations come together to help those who are in vulnerable positions right now. As an employee of Kentucky’s largest energy provider, I see the struggles impacting our residential and business customers. Thankfully, LG&E and KU, like many utilities, are offering support to customers, and partnering with coronavirus relief efforts across the commonwealth, while continuing to deliver safe, reliable service. We’re modifying our business operations and taking steps to further protect our employees, contractors and general public. The company also has a dedicated web page, lge-ku.com/covid-19, to keep our customers updated on our response to the pandemic.
Our community is strong, and we will get through this.
